sunsetAs I sit here, back home in Cleveland for the holidays, I reflect on what’s been a very interesting year for me - actually, the most interesting than any in the past. I’ve learned a lot about myself, on personal and professional levels, as I’ve gone through a lot of changes this year with family, friends, and my career - with most recently, my lay off. But even with all the highs and lows, I’ve enjoyed every second of it and wouldn’t change it a bit.

I’m lucky and thankful to have gotten to know a lot of you, and even luckier to have met many of you in person. I’ve learned a CRAP load and have been able to grow everyday - but can only attest that to everyone I’ve been in contact with; from you - my readers, my community, who take the time to read my little ‘ol blog that I started earlier this year, those who tweet with me to shoot the sh*t, to the people who’ve earnestly invested time into my own growth as I dove head first into this Social Media world - I’ll always be thankful for you.

I’ve got a long way to go but there’s no ceiling on what can be accomplished in 2009 and know it will be a great one with many successes and new beginnings - and know that I have that much more to look forward to from all of you and your own goals & endeavors.

As the sun sets on the year that was, let’s take a look back on all the great things we’ve accomplished, the laughter, the tears (yes - even the heartaches) - and make sure that 2009 will be an even bigger & better year to remember.

Cheers to you and see you next year!

Sonny, I am so glad that we connected on Plurk and met up in AZ! I can’t imagine my 2008 without you. You’ve been a great friend, an inspiration and I’ve learned from you as well.

Any company that hires you will be darn lucky to have you on board and a part of their social media team…I hope they appreciate what you can teach them! :)

Looking forward to seeing how you take 2009 by the horns and whip it into shape!

    Happy New Year friend!

It’s been great getting to know you this year, too. One of these days, we’ll be in the same city and get to share a tasty beverage or two. Hopefully soon.

Here’s to tomorrow and the start of a new year that I believe has incredible things in store for us.
